Pathetic
Membership cancelled due to member complaint about me while they were using a work out bench as a shelf.
Asked member if they were using it or just storing there stuff on there.
Member stated just storing my weights on there between sets
Refused to move them. Then complained that I verbally abused her.
The member then went on and took unsolicited photos of myself

****Beware and careful before signing with them*****. Staff members are unprofesstional , dishonest and didnt disclose details about fees at the time of joining.
I was told weekly pay of 19.95 which turn out to be 24 month contract. At the time of joining i specifically asked staff memeber about cancellation and she told me there is nothing but when i went to cancel membership.
The same staff outrightly lied that she never had such discussion on cancellation fees and its not a lock in contract.this itself shows she didnt disclose these details at the time of signing which is wrong, unethical and dishonest.
its mistake from my side to blindly trust that staff and sign without reading contract. But its also shows unprofessionalism and unalethical practice by staff memeber to hide such important information at the time of signing.

Some guy took my jacket by accident and left his jacket here. My jacket had car keys, work keys and home keys there

No sanitizers
No one filling sanitizer wipes on weekends and there is only one sanitizer box which is empty always when virus is spreading around the world they should take extra care if they want their customers to do work out on clean gym equipment

Disappointed customer
Very much agree with you there, I have nothing against anytime fitness in fact i enjoyed the convenience and club equipment and all, I only recently changed to a different gym because they offer a much better rate and have awesome facilities. I inquired first to see if i was able to get the same rate at anytime so i wouldn't need to go through the hassle of joining a new gym(even tho there are no joining fees ect its the paperwork that bothers me), and i know for a fact that everyone's rate is different as i have friends that are on much lower rate, anyways, the club manager refused and sent me termination notice so basically they would rather let me go as a customer than giving me a discount after being with them for a few years and recomending them to my friends, Im extremely disappointed in their service.
As for the key fob, very much 200% sure i was told this was a DEPOSIT and would be refunded to me if i decide to leave/cancel my membership, as you all know now that's obviously a LIE.

Additional $120 charge on top of membership fee
So I signed up with Anytime Fitness about 6 weeks ago. I paid the $79 fee for the FOB key and paid an extra $40 or so for the rest of the month as it was about halfway through the month when I signed up.
I signed up for an 18 month contract which worked out to be around $60 a month.
Today is the 1st day of the month so the direct debit came out, only to then check that there is a separate direct debit on top of the $60 for $119.30 with no explanation. I do not recall them saying anything about this when I signed up and I’ve read through their member terms and conditions.
Has anyone else had this happen? Could someone explain to me what it could have been? I’ve never brought a guest with me, I always wipe down equipment after every use and I am a respectful member in general so I just don’t understand. I would call them but they aren’t open until the morning.
Letter to customer service - everyone is incompetent
To whom it may concern,
I have supplied this gym ( anytime fitness Altona) two letters one from my chiropractor (not good enough) and one from my midwife (apparently not a medical professional) and yet still they are asking for more evidence as to why I cannot continue after pregnancy with my membership. I don’t think it’s anyone’s business as to why and I shouldn’t have to go into detail as to what my medical conditions are. Chiropractors do 5 years of school as do midwives, and yet Ben tells me they are not medical professionals. And asks for more “proof”.
Does he know what it’s like to be pregnant, does he understand what it’s like to go through post natal depression and sleepless nights during and after pregnancy? . Does he know what it’s like to struggle standing for more than ten minutes and yet I have to travel 25 minutes to my doctor via public transport just to get another letter stating I won’t be capable or completing my membership now or post natal?
This guy has no idea , and yet he’s putting me under even more stress now then what I already am under, to go get another piece of paper signed by another doctor. Altona anytime fitness is a joke and the customer service is the worst. I am SO disappointed , in this franchise and especially Ben the manager at anytime . I suggest you get this sorted ASAP. As I am furious and shouldn’t have to be put in this situation and feel this way either. Is he desperate for members that he just won’t let me go live my own healthy lifestyle the way I need to, so I can carry this child to full term and look after it afterwards?
I expect this resolved appropriately within 24-48 hours.

Rude girl at Mount Druitt, I tried telling her I cancelled my membership by responding to an email I was sent by them. She was defensive ...
saying, "What email...What message." Then when I respond she will not let me. I say to her let me finish speaking? She hangs up on me and puts the phone to voicemail.
They are childish and rude, no professional skills whatsoever... only when they taking your money to sign you up, don't want to know you when your cancelling, they like oh sorry you have to do that online, in the mean time we will still take your money from your bank account so you'd better get it done.

Verified Reviewer |2 months out of contract and still being charged
I signed up for 12 month contract, its 1 year and 2 months later and still being charged, even though I haven't been to a branch in over 6 months. How do they know i'm not dead?
The fact they are still charging my credit-card is scam level in my opinion. I call 1 person, tells me to call another person. that person tells me to e-mail. That email tells me I have to go to the branch in-person.
And then i still have to pay another month ontop of that. Like this isn't a *** mortgage, you can *** off with your *** service for life, none of my friends or family will ever go to your gyms.

@anytimefitness My daughter wish to cancel the contract as she's underage anyway and they consistently won't cancel it and I harassing her for payment . 100% do not sign up with any time fitness waste of money .
Discrimination to Foreigner - Anytime Fitness Club Bentley, Western Australia
Gym lovers are recommended not to join Bentley, Western Australia membership as my best friends was kicked by them with just response to their text message "Hello, Hi Merry Christmas" to the fitness consultant. Greeting to them are treated as "insulation" In many way, we have found that they kicked out members as usual after they raise up the weekly membership fee. If someone already join in, please do not reply any message to them and they will find any excuses to terminate your membership They are all having conservative thinking and hate to see foreign people pop in the gym

Charging me a rather large sum to replace a cheap piece of plastic.
After 5 years of collecting payment from me, I am told I have to pay $69 to replace my access key tab. I seriously doubt they are worth that much.
I mean maybe a small fee to ensure people look after the one they got but that is ridiculous and now I can't access the gym after office hours till I give them the money. I think after thousands of dollars from me they could maybe be a little more lenient on this one. At this point I am really considering cancelling my membership as I don't see how this is fair.
The ladies who work there are lovely and I have absolutely no issue with them as they are only doing there job. But I have had enough of this company's treatment of me as its not the first time they have screwed me over.

Anytime Robbers
I could not use the gym for the 12 month contract but also did not complain /request of any refund for no use, worst is that I am still charged even after the contract is over and have already given in writing for membership cancelation. I referred few friends in the beginning but now I will spend time to find better place for them and will ask them to change their membership form Roxburgh Park Anytime Fitness Centre to any other. They appears to be interested only in making money but not no keep a customer for life by delivering trust and customer service.

The Glenroy suburb gym is very poorly maintained. The machines are in pathetic state and carpets not vacuumed.

Cancelled membership 2 years ago yet still being directed debited. Had a member call me stating im not registered with anytime fitness yet still being charged.

Excess Charge
Hi I am Rahiman Shariff Shaik member of anytime fitness Thornlie since 3 years on 30th of March i went into the gym and updated my credit card details but she asked me to visit again to pay the current month which i did not understand, i was busy so could not turn up last week , now i have been charged nearly $8.00 extra. That's a system fault not mine as i have already visited gym and updated my card details
So for being a loyal customer this is what i get.
Earlier i referred on person for which i did not get any discount , i bought other customer whom you rejected since he wants to join in thornlie but want access to other gym near his home which as per your rules for first one month not applicable.
Anyways i thought to leave a feed back , thanks for having me sadly but i am leaving the gym since this hurts me
Feed back : Make Rules and Regulations to attract people and get connected with the gym not to leave the gym

Sounds fair, if they don't ant you, go somewhere else. They are the ones losing the money and you are gaining economic freedom and freedom of choice regarding your chosen facility. I don't know anything or care about about key fobs.
